- Mary O. -
Vocal Instructor
With “a voice that could blow the roof off any theatre she graces” (Broadway World), Mary is an emerging artist in the Charleston musical theatre scene. Mary is widely recognized for her quirky southern charm and her “emotionally infused singing'' (Talkin’ Broadway).
Hailing from Moncks Corner, South Carolina, Mary has graced stages from coast to coast. Previously, she completed her Master of Music degree (Musical Theatre & Opera Performance) at Arizona State University, and her Bachelor of Music degree(Vocal Performance) from the College of Charleston. Over the years, Mary has delighted audiences in the roles of Emma Jones (Street Scene), Margaret Johnson (The Light in the Piazza), Jo March (Little Women), and Lucille Frank (Parade). Mary recently made her debut at the iconic 54 Below in NYC. Mary’s love for singing was fostered by the many choirs she sang in growing up, and so Mary is also highly active in the professional choral world, performing regularly with the Taylor Festival Choir (Charleston, SC). |
