Piano Instructor
Jeff is a native New Yorker who has been playing in night clubs since the age of 15. He has opened for Tony Bennett and played for Frank Sinatra’s 66th birthday in Atlantic City, NJ as well as the well known Jilly’s on 52nd Street in New York City. He has played with Arvel Shaw (bassist) who once was a member of Louie Armstrong’s “Hot Five."
Now Jeff spends most of his time now in SC, but still maintains a home in the Hudson Valley in New York. He is the leader of his trio and has recently opened the Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival this past October. His trio has been in concert at the historic Winyah Auditorium in Georgetown, SC. Jeff has over 60 years of experience playing the piano. He holds a Master Degree in Music Education and was a choral teacher in the New York State Educational system. He has produced and directed musicals including The Wizard of Oz, Sound of Music, Guys and Dolls and South Pacific. |
