Voice Instructor
David is originally from Grand Rapids, MI; however, he has been living in the southeast since the fall of 2012. David is a singer and educator who earned his bachelor’s degree in choral music education from Charleston Southern University where he studied voice with Dr. Jill Terhaar Lewis and participated in numerous instrumental and vocal ensemble. Additionally, David performed in multiple roles in operatic and musical theatre productions.
Upon graduating from CSU in 2016, David went on to earn his master’s degree in vocal performance and music education from the University of Florida, graduating in the spring of 2018. While at the University of Florida, David studied voice with Dr. Tony Offerle and Dr. Elizabeth Graham. David is a frequent performer and director of musical theatre, opera, and sacred music. Since graduating from UF, he has been teaching choral music and private voice in South Carolina. |
