Compass Choir Club: Spring 2026

    CONTACT INFORMATION:

    Important considerations, please carefully read each statement and sign at the end:

    TUITION, CANCELLATIONS, & REFUNDS:

    • When a scholar enrolls in choir club, they are committed for the semester and no refunds are given for any reason. Should SC Music Lessons (SCML) find it necessary to remove a child from the program; however, a refund will be issued after deduction for classes already attended.

    • Choir Club tuition is billed monthly via automatic draft. Tuition is due on the 1st of each month.

    • Families are responsible for ensuring payment information remains current. Each family is granted one (1) courtesy grace occurrence per school year for a failed or returned payment. If a payment fails, families will be notified immediately and given 5 days to resolve the balance. Upon a second failed or returned payment, the student will be unenrolled from Choir Club and their spot released. This policy allows us to keep tuition predictable, ensure instructor compensation, and maintain a consistent experience for students.

    • Scholars are to be picked up promptly at the end of choir club (4:00 PM). After a 5-minute grace period, $5 per minute late fee is charged.

    • An SCML instructor is allowed one sick day during the semester (scholars will still receive a total of 16 classes). If more than one cancellation occurs though, a make-up class may be held on a different day / time than the regularly scheduled class; however, if Compass cancels a class, it is subject to SCML if a make-up will be provided.

    • SCML reserves the right to cancel any program due to insufficient enrollment. Upon cancellation, a full refund will be given.

    • ​An email will be sent when there is a cancellation. If you do not receive an email prior to the session, please assume that the session is happening. ​

    ​To note, similar to other extracurricular activities (e.g., sports teams, dance studios, band, and orchestra), students still receive the value of being a part of the club even if they need to miss on occasion. Tuition not only takes into consideration the actual choir club time but also the time instructors dedicate to their professional development, choosing scholar's repertoire, planning programs, and more. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES & ROLES:

    SC Music Lessons LLC:
    • Completes a background check on each SC Music Lessons LLC instructor
    • Handles all billing and scheduling
    • Provides resources and ongoing support as needed for both clients and instructors

    Instructor:
    • Teaches weekly, professional music classes

    Since the studio takes care of all of the administrative aspects of the choir club, if a client has any question about his or her account, we ask that the client contact the studio by phone or email concerning any questions. This allows instructors to focus on what they do best – teaching!

    LIABILITY

    • The client agrees that in all circumstances, SC Music Lessons LLC is not liable for any direct, indirect or consequential damages resulting from engaging in group music instruction. The client agrees that all legal responsibility and liability are theirs to bear. 

    EMAIL USE

    • We use email as our primary way of communicating with parents. If a parent changes their email address, it is important to notify the studio as soon as possible. If the studio does not have a correct email address on file, parents may miss important notices.
